IAN FERGUSON
Director/Producer

Ian has enjoyed a lengthy and prolific career in the entertainment industry as a film producer, theatre director, playwright and Award-winning author.  Ian wrote, directed and produced the feature documentary GONE SOUTH: HOW CANADA INVENTED HOLLYWOOD, broadcast on SuperChannel and screened at a number of Film Festivals in Canada and the US. He produced and directed SHE KILLS ME a TV comedy series airing nationally on APTN in 2014-2015.  
Perhaps best known as the author of the best seller HOW TO BE CANADIAN (Douglas &McIntyre), THE SURVIVAL GUIDE TO B.C. (Heritage House); and TRUDEAU ON TRUDEAU: THE DEEP THOUGHTS OF CANADA'S 23rd PRIME MINISTER (Simon and Schuster).

KIRSTEN VAN RITZEN Writer/Producer 

Kirsten is a powerhouse who gets things done – while wearing many hats! She was Executive Producer of SHE KILLS ME a 13-episode TV series featuring funny women, filmed in Victoria for APTN.  Kirsten has produced hundreds of plays, special events, and comedy shows. In Victoria she may be best known as the star and creator/producer, along with partner Ian Ferguson, of the acclaimed SIN CITY LIVE IMPROV SERIAL, which enjoyed an 8-season run with more than 150 outstanding performances. 
 ​Kirsten wrote the screen play for TAKE ME AWAY, which was selected Top 5 Finalist in the Cine Spark Pitch Fest.  A member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, Kirsten’s numerous writing credits include sitcoms, plays, sketch and stand-up comedy. Her solo play ALL MY DAY JOBS (published in ONE FOR THE ROAD/Signature Editions) has been mounted across Canada. Her other plays include RADIOLAND, SOLO JOURNEYS and MAD LADY PEEL. She is also the author of humour novel THE COMEDY DIVA DIARIES. For ten years, she taught a popular course in how to write and perform Stand Up comedy, providing a showcase to hundreds of regular folks who realized their dream of taking the stage to share their voice.  www.kirstenvanritzen.com

David Malysheff is the principal of Gamut Productions. He has more than 27 years extensive television production experience in film and broadcast video formats. One of the most requested camera operators in Canada, David brings award winning skills and an outstanding depth of experience and creativity to all projects. He has shot for national and international networks (Telus, CBC, City TV, ATPN) on notable series such as THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, THE NATURE OF THINGS, TRIBAL POLICE TRAILS and more; and for hundreds of commercial, corporate and television producers in locations around the globe.  
David’s skill as a camera operator often calls on him to perform in extreme circumstances. He’s spent hundreds of hours in helicopters, and has delivered quality videography under nearly impossible time constraints to the highest standards- from Zodiacs in rapids, from horseback, from Africa to Alaska.
